Mission Statement

The Mission of the Stockdale Economic Development Corporation is to enhance and promote the economic health, stability and growth of the City of Stockdale, while maintaining the charm of a small town environment.

Goals

1. Develop promotions and programs for local merchants to help retain and expand business.

2. Coordinate with county beautification efforts to enhance appearance of the city

3. Develop expanded utilization of the City Park.

4. Encourage development of more residential housing; both single and multi-family.

5. Develop an industrial park.

6. Investiage possible opportunities for land development.

7. Investigate potential opportunities for developing hotel/motel/bed&breakfast facilities.

8. Focus on developing clean, environmentally friendly industry.
