Things to Do
Visit the Birding Platform near the Stockdale
water treatment plant on CR 401 just off of US Hwy 87. The site is
normally open during daylight hours. Contact City Hall for more
information.
Jackson
Nature Park is a 50-acre natural area located just a few miles south of
Stockdale. Turn onto CR 401 from US 87 and travel until just past
the Cibolo Creek bridge. (GPS Lat: 29.219602 Lon:
-98.009119). Opens at 9:00 a.m. or earlier by prior
arrangement. $1.00 fee per person.
Activities: Birding, picnicking, hiking, nature
studies, observing unique rock formations rare to this area.
Interpretive signs, picnic tables, portable toilets.
