Jackson Nature Park 
       

The Jackson Nature Park is a 50-acre park located south of  Stockdale on Wilson County Road 401.  The land was donated to Wilson County by Mrs. Cloma Jackson    in 1999 for use as a natural area and a place for recreation. The San Antonio River Authority maintains and operates the Park.

Sarah Bain Chandler Library


This branch of the Wilson County library system is located on Main Street, adjacent to City Hall.

Stockdale Museum

The Stockdale Museum is located on Main Street in downtown Stockdale. It is housed in the office of Dr. Ella Ware. Dr. Ware was one of the first women to graduate with a medical degree from the University of Texas Medical College in Galveston, and practiced for 50 years in Stockdale.

The museum is open on the second Tuesdays of the month and when special events are held downtown.
